Model a Conversation with Language Laboratory

Have you ever heard a teacher say, "I love how quiet you all are! Keep it up." Silent classrooms are dangerous, especially for English language learners.
Talking is the only way to learn language. If your goal is to lift your students’ level of language, how can you do that in a hushed classroom? While it is impractical to know all of the reasons, there is no doubt that learning to listen and talk is an exceptionally good way to expand knowledge, enhance understanding and build community. Perhaps this is why the core standards in English-language include greater emphasis on developing listening and speaking, the key tools for conversation. Teachers can do a lot in the classroom to make the students exceptional speakers. You can engage them in one-to-two minute interactions, at least a few times each week with students who struggle conversationally. Use different kinds of language enhancing tools to make them speak loud with confidence. Digital language lab is one such technique that every language teacher should opt for.

While teaching them the basic language skills, teacher can promote and support them to speak confidently without any embarrassment. Model conversations and situational dialogues added in this language lab are considered as the best ways to make students listen to talks of native speakers and to repeat the same and comprehend talks for better understanding. If you are not using a structured conversation or talk technique regularly in your classroom yet, then you should start using language lab, so that you can make your students proficient in language and communication skills.
